Hello and welcome to my page, I am so happy you stopped by! I’m Elizabeth, Momma of 5, and many angel babes. Wearer of many hats, when I’m not working or helping a Mother bring a baby earth side you can often find me on an adventure with or homeschooling my littles. I’m a hockey mom, so as you can imagine I am often found at the rink, at any time of the year, watching my boys do what they love.

I am a certified Christian Birth and Postpartum Doula serving the Twin Cities and surrounding area. My goal is to empower Mother’s throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. Utilizing and embracing birth wisdom that has been inherent to women for centuries, I provide faith-based and evidence-based support. Nurturing mother’s and family’s, and providing them with the tools and strength to advocate for the birth experience they desire.

I believe birth is not only beautiful and incredible, but that our bodies are wonderfully designed for the process. I believe we as women are powerful beyond measure, and the journey of birth is a sacred place where that power can be remembered and reclaimed. I hold a deep passion for physiological birth, blending education with heart to create an atmosphere of calm and confidence. When present, I believe that a father carries a vital and irreplaceable role in the birth story as well. My care extends to the father or birth partner, guiding, educating, and encouraging them so they can stand steady, present, and strong for the mother they love. And when a birth partner is not present, it is an honor to stand alongside and support the mother through this role.

As a certified Herbalist, I am deeply passionate about wellness and guiding both my family and others along their own journeys toward health. I believe everyone deserves access to safer, healthier options - whether they are navigating their overall wellness or stepping into the sacred path of parenthood. It is a true honor to explore these options and share knowledge, support, and encouragement with those who seek it. I hold the belief that our bodies are not born broken, but created perfectly, just as The Lord intended. While I value and seek natural remedies whenever possible, I also recognize the important role that modern medicine and higher levels of care can play when needed.

I have always had this deep-rooted passion and calling for motherhood, pregnancy, and birth. There’s something profoundly beautiful in both witnessing and experiencing this journey - in all its raw intensity and tender moments.

After my second birth, I felt an undeniable pull toward birth work. At the time, I didn’t know to follow that calling, or even fully understand what it meant. But with each birth, the feeling grew stronger, and it became more apparent where God was leading me.

One day, I finally surrendered it all to Him. And wow - did He ever move swiftly! He turned what I thought I knew the direction of my path was upside down, gently replacing my plans with His own. Looking back, I can see the subtle shifts He made - the nudges of His wisdom, the doors He quietly opened for my family and me to step through.

When I finally took the leap He had been patiently waiting for me to take, The Heritage Mother was born. And that brings me here, writing this hello to you today!
